‘Beauty for ashes’ this was the theme when YWAMers from across Europe met together in Holland. Our continent of Europe is one of the darkest spiritual environments in the world today. Its people need a revelation of God, a loving merciful Father who so loved us that He gave His Son Jesus so that we may have life and life to the full.

After seeking God together we left with a clear challenge “to pioneer 1000 small teams throughout the nations of Europe!" 

YWAM Derby has embraced this challenge. God had already touched our hearts with His vision. Five years ago we pioneered an Urban DTS, specifically to take the Gospel into the cities of the UK and Europe. During the last 4 years our urban teams have served in Berlin, London, Liverpool, Birmingham, Sheffield and many other cities, touching thousands of lives with the love of God.
