YWAM Derby is an urban base, living in the city as part of the body of Christ, partnering with local church projects and pioneering new projects reaching out to the multicultural people of Derby, while training and equipping young people for mission throughout the world.

YWAM Derby, What do we do?

Evangelism ministries in Derby. God has led us to reach out to young people that live their lives in the city centre and through coffee bar work at the YMCA.

We have close links with city centre churches and Derby City Mission. We partner with them in practical expressions of God’s mercy to the poor.

The multicultural nature of the city gives great opportunities to share the gospel with people from over 80 nations that have made their home here. We focus on building relationships through which we can demonstrate the Gospel in practical ways alongside sharing our own testimonies.

Urban DTS gives opportunity to know God and make Him known in the cities of UK and Europe , 12 weeks lecture phase in Derby then 9 weeks outreach in UK and/or Mainland Europe (Including debrief and graduation.)

Making Disciples is an internship with us here in YWAM Derby with DTS graduates. The aim is to equip and nurture young DTS graduates to be able to walk in the fullness of Christ’s inheritance for them, through championing, trusting, training and supporting them into God’s best for their lives.

Planting Small Evangelism and Intercession Teams God is calling YWAM to plant small teams in the cities of Europe , we have heard this call and are looking to recruit post DTS staff to respond to that call and go.
